“Full of angsty goodness and a bad boy hero who will steal your heart”
—Elle Kennedy, New York Times bestselling author
Rich Prick, an all-new captivating, angst filled romance by New York Times bestselling author Tijan, is available now!
He walked into school on his first day and owned it.
I guess that’s what happens when you’re a prick, rich, and you’re best friends with the ruling school’s king.
Also didn’t hurt he’s drop dead gorgeous.
That’s all fine.
I mean, I have nothing to do with them.
I’m a loner, invisible, and that’s how I wanted it to be.
I was even proud of it, until I wasn’t.
Until I saw a girl kneel before him.
Until I couldn’t look away.
Until he caught me watching.
His name is Blaise Devroe. My name is Aspen Monson.
He only knew how to get, command, and demand attention.
I knew how to do everything but that.
And this is our story.
*Rich Prick is a full 100k standalone.
If you love all things Fallen Crest. If you’ve been anxiously awaiting this book. If you adore Tijan. Well, then you won’t be disappointed. I actually signed up for this book not knowing who it was about; I had to get my hands on it solely because Tijan wrote it. For those of you who are die9hard Tijan fans and FC junkies (like me), I’ll remind you of a person Bren and crew ran into one time. Jog your memory? YES! This is about that character. For everyone else, I’ll wax poetic for a bit as to what makes this book so amazing.
First, Tijan’s writing is crazy awesome. Her ability to create a world that can become all-consuming and parallel to reality is beyond extraordinary. Secondly, she creates characters who have angst, depth, charisma, and appeal. Shoot, even the characters you love to hate can tug on your heartstrings. Thirdly, the stories she writes draw you in and you fight yourself on whether to keep reading because you want to see what happens and yet battle with yourself to hold back because you are loathed to run out of more story to read. It’s quite the quandary.
All of the above aptly describes Rich Prick. Blaise is indeed a rich prick. But what we soon find out is people who behave as he does often have a story to tell. He’s a bit of an onion; he has lots of layers, but he’s very picky about who can pull back those layers. Aspen is a bit of an onion herself, but a small little one that doesn’t want to be peeled. Yeah, I just compared them to vegetables! But it works. Blaise’s backstory broke my heart. I won’t tell you anything beyond that because I want Tijan to break your heart, too. But don’t despair, there is a beautiful antidote and she’s named after a tree.
Aspen. Oh Lord. This girl is incredible. She’s such a unique character. Bren (Crew) and Samantha (FC) are strong, independent females. Aspen has aspects of that in her personality, but there is a fragility and vulnerability to her as well. See? Layers. But above all, her heart is so pure and kind. An antidote for pain and heartache. And she manages to tame the biggest pricks around.
I can’t thank Tijan enough for revisiting Fallen Crest and bringing us new generations and extended family of the original cast who captured our hearts. If you lose a night of sleep devouring this book, this it’s a sleepless night well spent!
