Kellan Maguire's on the run from the mob, living a secret life. The only bright spot is his U.S. Marshal handler. Yeah, he wants to handle her....a lot. And in spite of all the rules it would break, Federal Marshal Delaney Evans secretly fears she’d risk everything for one night with Kellan. Even though Delaney’s career, her entire world, could implode if she admits how important he is to her. And all that is before the biggest complication of all hits...
Don't miss the final Bad Boys Gone Good novel!
In USA Today bestseller Christi Barth’s last Bad Boys Gone Good novel, the brother who’s always followed the rules finally gets to be a little bad.
Following a memorable meet-cute, where Kieran Mullaney and Delaney Evans, debate grammar in some stunning banter and we quickly discover that Kieran is now Kellan Maguire, and Delaney is not just some hot co-ed looking for a lawyer to be. Nope, Delaney is the now the Maguire mens’ handler as they enter protective custody and the Witness protection program, which is a huge surprise to the youngest Maguire. Now in Bandon Oregon, the Maguire’s continue to draw the ire of their handler – they just can’t seem to stay away from trouble, and Kellan is about to use that to his advantage – much to Delaney’s delight.
This the first book by Christi Bart that I’ve read and it’s clear to me why she’s a bestselling author. The storytelling is so smooth, the writing flows so well, and the connection between Delaney and Kellan is simply magic. When Kellan and Delaney decide their attraction can’t be denied, she makes the risk they take so very rewarding.
Delaney is a strong and sensible woman and her assessment of Kellan make him all the more irresistible He’s the right balance of sensitive and alpha and fights for what he wants. Barth gives these characters so much life and there’s plenty of action making for a suspenseful read. I have a ton of highlights which is how I know I loved a story. I am so intrigued by all three brothers and I’ll be reading books 1 and 2 soon. 5 stars and recommendation!
