I don’t know what I want to do with my life. The only thing I am sure of is that this is not what I imagined my life to be. So, instead of staying and trying to figure out what is wrong, I choose to run away. I choose the unknown. I choose the adventure. My name is Anabel Majer, and I’m lost.
I have it all—well, almost all: family, health, money, fame, career, women, you name it. The only thing I am missing is a Super Bowl ring—or so I thought until the night everything changed. One night, a small Tinkerbell collided with my life, and I am gone.My name is William Price, and I found her.
She is everything he wanted. He is everything she needed to stay away from. What happens if at the end of the journey you lose more than you find?

This was my first book by Anna B. Doe, and I am completely sold. The blurb of this book doesn’t do the story justice. Don’t get me wrong, it’s written well, but what you see the perfect level of angst, self-discovery, and new love at the NA level. These are ALL huge checks in my book. Add in a sports star and a few twists, and you’ve got a great story.

What I enjoyed about the story is how I became invested in the characters and kept cheering for Bel and Will to figure things out. There were a few times when I got upset at their actions, but that only upped the angst factor. Of course, along with this angst is severe frustration with some of Bel’s choices. I found Will to be much more developed and self-aware; he figured out what he was feeling and acted accordingly. Bel was much more timid and often made poor choices that hurt her and Will  – all due to her fear. I wished she would have gotten her head out of her butt earlier, but then the story wouldn’t have been the same. Overall, Will was my favorite, but I think they ended up deserving each other in the end.

The secondary characters, J.D. and Sienna, helped make the story great. I can’t wait to see their journey and fill in the blanks of what happened to them!
