What’s sexier than a bad boy? A bad ass man who’s got his shit together.
Max Alexander is nearing thirty-five. He’s built a successful company, and he’s conquered the professional world, but he’s never been lucky in love. Focusing so much time on his business and raising his daughter, adulting has come at the expense of his personal life.
His social skills are shit, his patience is shot, and at times, his temper runs hot.
The last thing he has time for is the recently single, too gorgeous for her own good young woman he hires to take care of his little girl. She’s a distraction he doesn’t need, and besides, there’s no way she’d be interested. But you know what they say about assumptions?
This is book 3 in the Roommates series, but each book can be read as a complete standalone as they all feature new couples to fall in love with.
Ryan weaves a brilliant tale that intersects everything happens for a reason with you never know what you need until you need it. Addison may have been a distraction to Max, but sometimes a distraction is just what the doctor ordered – and more!
I enjoyed watching Max try to acclimate to the new females in his life. It’s a test of character to see how a person adapts to change and unexpected craziness; Max passed with flying colors. So not only is he a super hottie capable of setting Addison’s (and readers alike) panties on fire, he’s a good guy. Good guys are underrated, but in my book, they always win.
I’ve been reading Ryan’s books for a while and I’m always pleasantly surprised when I find the stories to be fresh and unique…you’re certainly not rereading the same plot and characters. Keep ’em coming and I’ll keep reading! I hope you enjoy this fun, light, and quick read.
