Bad Boys After Dark: Dylan by Melissa Foster
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I love reading romance, but it’s not often that the scorching physical chemistry between characters is what sits at the top of my mind when I think about a book I’m reviewing. But with Bad Boys After Dark #2: Dylan… it can’t be helped. It’s at the top of my “sexiest” reads for 2016 for good reason. Dylan Bad is swoon-worthy; he’s charming, good looking, successful, adventurous, sweet and sensitive. Normally I’d think he’s too perfect, he’s written too perfectly and how boring is that? But that’s soooo not true and that’s because of Melissa Fosters storytelling. Our hero, one Dylan Bad represents the best of the best.

Foster pairs Dylan with a woman who, by all accounts, has the same goal as he does – spending one night exploring their chemistry then moving on. But Dylan seems to have changed his mind and this story is all about the man wooing Tiffany Winters. When Dylan Bad commits to something, he does so wholeheartedly. With Tiffany fighting him most of the way, he resorts to some tried and true methods. This is so much fun to watch. It turns out Dylan is incredible romantic making his pursuit of Tiffany captivating. Tiffany tries to keep their connection about the physical and these two just have that special something and I found myself re-reading most every physical encounter between them. Simply put, they are incredibly passionate and HOT together!

This is the 3rd book by Melissa Foster that I’ve read in the last few months. She has a few series going and I’m finding that her characters are very diverse and feel incredibly authentic to me. My experience is that she writes really amazing characters that are emotionally complex; virtuously flawed. With Dylan and Tiffany their personal issues are easy to understand and their backstories paint a clear picture of their “whys”.

Melissa Foster is a new to me and I author with a vast catalog to choose from and I look forward to working my way through each series and the standalones’ too. Dylan’s and Tiffany’s story is a definite 5 star read and one that highly recommend!!

  1. Great review! I love it when the chemistry just runs off the pages! That’s how I get emotionally invested in a relationship, too, I need to feel their connection and attraction, you know. Happy you liked it! 🙂
