Conflicted by A.M. Guilliams #ExistingSeries #Review #OUAP @AM_GuilliamsConflicted (The Existing Series Book 2) by A.M. Guilliams

I received this book for free from in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

IÔÇÖm passionate, caring, and loyal to a fault. All traits that have gotten me to where I am today.
My future was finally headed in the direction I felt it was always meant to go. Anger fueled my determination for success.  But life was never that easy. I shouldÔÇÖve known better than to think it would all just fall into place. All it took was one freak accident to cause my whole world to pause, teetering on emotions I never imagined were possible. Promises were made; vows I would keep until the day I died.
Delaney Winters came tumbling into my hometown with nowhere else to turn. Something about her calmed the storm that brewed inside of me. I tried and failed to keep myself from attempting to save her. I wanted to be more than just the hero she claimed she didnÔÇÖt need.
Feelings were never supposed to develop.  Love was never part of the promise.  How far would you go to keep a promise before you crossed the line to love?  My name is Weston Corbin, and this is my story.
This is the second installment in The Existing Series and can be read as a standalone.

This is the second book in the twisted journey of The Existing Series., and the story overlaps the ending of book one.  Thus, for everything to make sense, make sure you read the Desolate first.  Plus, it will prepare you for the twists and turns crafted by the author.

I loved Weston in the first book. ┬áHe came across as a good, salt-salt-of-the-earth man when he blew into Magdalena DeLuca’s life. ┬áIn┬áConflicted, we learn so much more about his background, why he is such a good man/friend, and his our difficult journey. ┬áAnd let’s say, it’s heartbreaking to see what his life has held. ┬áHowever much I loved him in the first book, I love him at least 150% more now. ┬áGuilliams wrote him so beautifully. ┬áHe’s a man full of grace, love, compassion, passion, and strength. ┬áI’m overly delighted he got his own story.

This book has a few less twists than the first one, but you can certainly see the signature writing style of the author.  I thought I knew what to expect when I picked up book 2.  I was pleasantly surprised to say that any preconceived notions were blown out of the water and surpassed.

If you’re looking for a beautiful story to pull at your heartstrings, but is a little off the beaten path of the romance genre, then read this series. ┬áThere is something to say about the road less traveled – it’s an adventure and you never know what you’ll find. I found┬áThe Existing Series.
