Randy Ballistic and Lily LeBlanc are head-over-heels, bed-breakingly, screaming orgasmically in love. But even they have their challenges, mostly outside of the bedroom.

With the off-season coming to a close and the boys gearing up for training camp, one more weekend of fun is the perfect way to welcome the new season.

The entire crew piles into vehicles and drives to Alex and VioletÔÇÖs Chicago cottage for a few days of relaxationÔÇöand hopefully a chance for Randy to shake the anxiety thatÔÇÖs been plaguing him.

Accidental wardrobe malfunctions, typical Violet inspired overshares, and a whole lot of private time round out the perfect weekend getaway.

But the moment they return to the city all of RandyÔÇÖs angst resurfaces with the arrival of a surprise houseguest.

It’s time to #GetPuckedUp with a little more #Balls action and delve into the wonderfully twisted mind of our beloved Helena Hunting! ┬áTake another fantastic┬ávoyage with the gang and spend some time with Randy and Lily. ┬á

This book is kind of in between the other books time wise and gives us a deeper understanding of the relationship dynamics between Randy & Lily.  How did you feel about them, watching as they came together as a couple?

Loredana:┬áI loved seeing this softer side of Randy. ┬áHe’s still the incredibly sexy and rearing to go, but it was great to see his vulnerability. ┬áI think this made him more three dimensional and more loveable. ┬áThe dynamics between Lily and Randy were amazing; they are wonderful and balancing each other out in the best ways. ┬áWhen’s he’s feeling needy, she knows how to handle and take care of him. ┬áWhen he retreats within himself, she knows what he needs so he doesn’t get lost. ┬áAnd he takes care of Lily emotionally, too.

Cyndi: Right you are Loredana, I felt like I knew him before, the rascal that he is at least. This continuation of their story made me see that softer side, that jealous and protective nature of Lily. His dedication to her, to them, was more explicit.

Were there any parts of the book that surprised you?

Loredana: The sweetest surprise was seeing more of Miller and how he dotes on Sunny.  We saw that in their book, but this felt like a more mature version of the couple.  In fact, all of the couples, while still rocking their own brand of crazy and weird, have matured as individuals and couples.  I liked seeing the progression.  There was a surprise appearance of a person (not spoiling it), and I can say with 100% certainty that I HATED HIM!

Cyndi:┬áNot surprised at your hatred Loredana, I was RIGHT there with you. ┬áI was reading way late into the evening and it killed me not to to text or message you. I was seething, a bit frightened and I wanted to vent. ┬áBut I was polite 🙂 ┬áAnyway, the most surprising aspect for me the Lance and the friendship┬áhe and Violet have formed. I think what most interesting about it is how Randy reacts to it. He’s protective of Alex and Violet and not afraid to let Lance know he’s being watched ┬á ┬á (were he to make a move on Violet – you know, as though Lance had a death wish). It’s kinda cute how Randy really wants to make certain these relationships, this new dynamic with them all (Alex and Vi, Sunny and Miller, and he and Lily) are protected. ┬áAt the heart though I think he just wants Lance to be a part of it, to find his happy.┬á

If you could have had more of any of the characters, who would it be?

Loredana: Do I love Randy?  Why, of course!  However, I think I will always need more Alex Waters in my life.  He #Pucked me up hardcore and will always hold a special place in my heart.  With that said, I still loved peeping into the head of Randy and getting to know him on a different level.

Cyndi: Yeah, I think I need to re-read Pucked cause I miss Alex, too. But it’s┬áLANCE and his situation that has me intrigued – I’m dying to know what’s going on there. He just seems so damn sad 🙁

Any favorite (non-spoiler) things you can share?

Loredana:┬áWell, I certainly will never look at leotards & tights without thinking of locker room shenanigans┬áagain. ┬áOh, and I am *seriously* thinking of the perks of a polaroid. ┬áThey’re back in style. ┬áMaybe I need one, too (wink, wink).

Cyndi: *giggle* I just love the word shenanigans and how it relates to Randy. ┬áI don’t think anyone would be surprised to learn that he just can’t stay away from bathroom sex with Lily. And that his ┬ápassion for her┬áfor sure hasn’t waned in the least. And ┬áI’ll just put the tease out there –> I was really happy that we finally learn the sex of Miller and Sunny’s baby… ┬á
