New York Times
bestselling authors of Stuck-Up Suit and Cocky Bastard, comes a sexy new standalone novel.
Money or love? Which would you choose?
You probably just answered the question in your head thinking it's an easy decision.
For me, it's not. Did I mention it's a lot of money? A hell of a lot.
I needed to go far away to think it through.
As I embarked on an impulsive trip, I hit a detour when I met sexy Carter in the airport lounge. We struck up a heated conversation.
Then, he left.
I thought I'd never see him again.
But fate had other plans.
Surprise! He was the pilot of my flight.
The bigger surprise was the adventure that followed after the plane landed.
Carter was dangerous and always on the move.
Even though our connection was magnetic, I knew it was only temporary.
He would give me tickets, and I would follow him around the world to exotic places.
A bevy of flight attendant exes and rumors about Carter's reputation were never far behind.
I didn't know what to believe.
But I was addicted. Nothing else mattered anymore. And I was going to get hurt. Because a part of me wanted to be the one to finally ground the playboy pilot.
At the very least, he was taking me on a thrilling ride.
All good things must come to an end, right?
Except our ending was one I didn't see coming.

This book is by far my FAVORITE collaboration by Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward. ┬áWhat I expected when I saw the cover was a cocky playboy who would charm his way into Kendall’s panties. ┬áWhat did the book deliver? Oh, you definitely get the cocky,┬ápanty charmer, but that was just the pretty wrapping paper to the amazingness that is Carter. ┬áIt’s a whirlwind tale of letting go in order to find what ┬áyou truly want. ┬áWhile it may come in different forms for Carter and Kendall, the idea is the same: you can’t move forward with letting go of the past.
I MUST wax poetic about Carter right now. ┬áI absolutely love the way he was written. ┬áThis guy and the depth of his character blew me away. ┬áHe was one amazing surprise after another. ┬áHis sweet and tender side were a perfect balance to that beautifully raunchy mouth. ┬áI guess that’s why you can’t be upset by some of the mildly obscene things that come out of his mouth; they’re delivered with such charm that you find it completely acceptable. Vi and Penelope made him such a paradox, and it was an absolute joy to peel back all of his layers.
Kendall is a bit of a lost soul.  Her backstory was completely original, and not something I would have guessed.  I was so happy to see her development and growth (READ: she put on her big girl panties).  Even though I liked watching her become more of who she should be, I felt more of a pull to Carter.  However, I appreciated who Carter is and how he made Kendall become a better version of herself.
I can’t say enough about the writing of these two authors. ┬áYou can never tell it was a collaboration, except for the fact that they bring out the┬áawesomeness in each other. ┬áTheir story lines are always fresh, the writing flows well, and their characters are captivating. ┬áPlayboy Pilot┬áwas no exception.┬á Even if you get angry or frustrated with the characters, they are written in a way to evoke those exact emotions (cough, cough, Kendall’s mother, cough, cough).
Needless to say, I remain a die-hard fan of Penelope and Vi, separately and as co-authors.  I will jump at every chance to read their words because it will always be worth it!
