"Warm and funny, the first book in the Bachelor Brotherhood series reads like a great Hollywood rom-com." -- iBooks Best Books of JuneA Bachelor Brotherhood Novel
Never say never . . .
Romance isn't an option for Holly Greenwood. With her wedding planner career on the line she needs to stay focused, and that means pleasing her demanding boss, not getting distracted by her mind-alteringly hot neighbor . . .
Ex-Marine Kevin Vandemeer craves normalcy. Instead, he has a broken-down old house in need of a match and some gasoline, a meddling family, and the uncanny ability to attract the world's craziest women. At least that last one he can fix: he and his buddies have made a pact to swear off women, and this includes his sweetly sexy new neighbor.
After one hot night that looks a whole lot like a disaster in the light of day, Kevin and Holly are about to learn that true love doesn't play by the rules . . .

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

If ever there was a book that made you sigh and say awe, it’s Only You. This is my first book by Denise Grover Swank and I thoroughly enjoyed this sweet and gentle romance. The first in the Bachelor Brotherhood series, Only You focuses on Holly Greenwood and Kevin Vandemeer. These new neighbors are coincidentally connected by a person who may have been trying to match-make them. But good intentions aside, there are some challenges. There are equally opposing forces and circumstances that drive a wedge between them and they will learn some battles, some foes, are completely worth the risk.

Kevin is a man who has bad luck and/or a bad habit of attracting from the unstable population of single females out there. While he swears off women, he finds himself trapped in a new relationship with a fixer-upper house and a kitten. His new neighbor Holly is bent on working to build her own wedding planning business while she works to take care of her grandmother. Fate may (or may not) have brought Kevin into her life, but that doesnÔÇÖt mean sheÔÇÖs ready for anything he has to offer.

The potential of a Kevin and Holly union is weighed down by fear, mostly HollyÔÇÖs. She has a lot at stake and Kevins connection to a certain dragon lady gets in the way. ThereÔÇÖs also issue of his poor character judgment skills that leave Holly to wonder just what kind of man he is and foster her reluctance. But they do have great chemistry and thatÔÇÖs hard to avoid and ignore.

The entire cast of secondary characters provide for some comedic relief (Megan and Bethany), while his ÔÇ£BrothersÔÇØ, Matt and Tyler, help to provide Kevin some much needed camaraderie. Her cousin Melanie and her grandmother are there to fill out the type of person that Holly is. ItÔÇÖs true these two are perfect for each other. Only You is just such a wonderful feel good 4 star read.

About Denise Grover Swank

New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Denise Grover Swank was born in Kansas City, Missouri and lived in the area until she was nineteen. Then she became a nomadic gypsy, living in five cities, four states and ten houses over the course of ten years before she moved back to her roots. She speaks English and smattering of Spanish and Chinese which she learned through an intensive Nick Jr. immersion period. Her hobbies include witty Facebook comments (in own her mind) and dancing in her kitchen with her children. (Quite badly if you believe her offspring.) Hidden talents include the gift of justification and the ability to drink massive amounts of caffeine and still fall asleep within two minutes. Her lack of the sense of smell allows her to perform many unspeakable tasks. She has six children and hasnÔÇÖt lost her sanity. Or so she leads you to believe.
