Ôÿå.ÔÇó┬░*┬░ÔÇó.ÔÿåTHE MATCHMAKER IS #LIVEÔÿå.ÔÇó┬░*┬░ÔÇó.Ôÿå
She can find love for anyone…
He isn’t looking…
Finding love is exactly what Amanda and Davis need without knowing it. Who knew a date when neither were looking for more, could lead to so much? But what if itÔÇÖs built on a tiny omission of fact?
Matches can be made, but can they survive the truth?
This is a very fast-paced novella of finding true love when you least expect it, even though our dear Amanda is┬áThe Matchmaker. ┬áCue the irony here…she has a really high success rate of pair people well, but can’t seem to find worthy of her. ┬áShe’s essentially married to her job. ┬áThat is until Davis unknowingly lands into her lap. ┬áIt’s a little white lie…what can one night of fun hurt?
Davis is a really awesome brother, uncle, and all-around guy. ┬áFrom the first moment you meet him, you know he’s a gentleman with a heart of gold. ┬áYou’re rooting for him to have a happy ending. ┬áAmanda is a bit of a workaholic, but she’s a pretty sweet character. ┬áI did feel as though I knew more about Davis and his character even though much of the story was led by Amanda.
The story was pretty interesting – a fun premise and the writing was very digestible. ┬áThough I know it was a necessary turn for the story, I found it a bit difficult to swallow that she would take the date with Davis. ┬áHis reaction was pretty intense and visceral when all the dots are connected. ┬áHowever, I think I would have reacted much the same way had I been in his shoes. ┬áI think the only thing that gets me is that this story really does want you to dig your teeth in, but it’s over too soon.
So, if you’re looking for a quick, fun read, here’s a summer novella for you!
