What's harder than resisting one Dane man? Resisting two.
I don't date bikers. It's my one cardinal rule. No rough, rugged, tattooed egotistical maniacs on two wheels. Even if they are gorgeous, brilliant, and sport the prefix Doctor. Bottom line, bikers are nothing but trouble.
Dr. Devlin Dane has had his sights set on my panties for months. But I've done a stellar job of fending him off. As Mercy Medical's most eligible bachelor, he has no problem in the panty dropping department. He's tall, dark, and inked all over. I get the appeal, I'm not dead. I'm not stupid either. He's a walking heartbreak waiting to happen.
But when Reese Dane comes crashing into my life - literally- the game suddenly changes.
Reese, the dark, brooding, motorcycle racing champion, knows exactly how to apply the right pressure on and off the track.
The two have an unstoppable pull like centrifugal force, and both bad boy bikers are determined to take me on a high-powered ride I'll never forget..

MOTO is one of those deliciously angsty reads – the kind that stops your heart and takes your breathe away, all while administering CPR. Gosh, IÔÇÖm not sure IÔÇÖve ever thought of a book in that way, but with MOTO itÔÇÖs fitting. I expected a sexy and sultry read. Did I get that? YES, but M Never delivers so much more. The premise is one that I knew might make me uncomfortable. I certainly felt muddled by the range of emotions I experienced. A good week later and IÔÇÖm still thinking about it. As the story unfolds I could see the situation start to change and play out in a way that had disaster written all over it.
Kayla believes she loves two men equally, but thereÔÇÖs moments that indicate that one of the Dane men might have gotten to her, grabbed onto heart just a skosh more than the other. When both begin saying ÔÇ£mineÔÇØ not ÔÇ£oursÔÇØ, itÔÇÖs clear that heartbreak is on the horizon. M Never made me realize that while I donÔÇÖt like cheating, and this situation isnÔÇÖt exactly like cheating (in the tradition sense), thereÔÇÖs still a betrayal and thatÔÇÖs what kills me:
ÔÇ£Ours turned into a labyrinth of emotion IÔÇÖm still trying to navigateÔÇØ
One will lose, but really no one will win. Honestly I didnÔÇÖt want things to go the way they go, it was Kayla being pulled along on an impetuous ride. I didnÔÇÖt want to go all ÔÇ£TeamxxxÔÇØ but I just couldÔÇÖt help myself. ThereÔÇÖs a fundamental difference between Reese and Devlin, and Never did one amazing job created these men and that world. Devlin and his dominance was strangely stable, comforting and hot, and I worried for him. Reese excited me, then his passion felt high-handed and psychotic. I envied Kayla, felt bad for the confusion and wreck of emotions and how torn up she was, but then I was angry with her… ÔÇ£I refused to choose, so he did it for meÔÇØ
I could feel that there would be a “break me” moment coming. The story progresses along at such a wonderful pace, it’s so easy to find yourself wrapped up in it. This story destroyed me – had I known, I wouldnÔÇÖt have started this on a week night. I had no intention of reading this is one fell swoop, but I just couldnÔÇÖt put it down. When it comes, when the end hits, itÔÇÖs utterly heartbreaking. But then Never gives us an epilogue that shows a wonderful future and takes us back to a crucial moment when it all comes together as it was meant to. MOTO is a 5++ Stars read for me and although I donÔÇÖt think the story is for everyone, I think itÔÇÖs one that everyone should take a chance on.

ÔÇ£IÔÇÖm not overreacting! You canÔÇÖt just pass me around to all your biker buddies and think itÔÇÖs okay! IÔÇÖm not a fucking wrist watch you can just throw into the pot!ÔÇØ
ÔÇ£Kayla, do you honestly think I wouldÔÇÖve put you up if I knew I couldnÔÇÖt win? That I would let anyone else touch what belongs to us?ÔÇØ Reese crowds me into a corner.
ÔÇ£Us?ÔÇØ I squeak. Wait, what?
ÔÇ£Yes. Us. Mine and DevÔÇÖs.ÔÇØ He enunciates the words. ÔÇ£You. Are. Ours.ÔÇØ
ThereÔÇÖs that word again. Ours.
ÔÇ£I donÔÇÖt understand.ÔÇØ
ÔÇ£Baby, I think you do. I think youÔÇÖve always known where we would end up.ÔÇØ Reese cages me in with his arms.
Dev materializes over ReeseÔÇÖs shoulder, and I internally hyperventilate. I donÔÇÖt know who to look at first as my gaze compulsively darts between the two of them. Two, beautiful, roughneck men, who both look like they want to have me for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
ÔÇ£How . . . how would this even work?ÔÇØ I crazily entertain the idea.
Both their faces split with a fiendish smile. I must have asked the million-dollar question.
Reese leans in closely, stopping my heart. ÔÇ£Let us show you,ÔÇØ he murmurs so seductively my knees nearly buckle. I throw a questioning eye at Dev and he nods confidently.
ÔÇ£You both want this?ÔÇØ I ask with a small voice.
ÔÇ£It isnÔÇÖt about what we want anymore. ItÔÇÖs all about you now,ÔÇØ Dev voices.
ÔÇ£Say yes, Kayla.ÔÇØ DevÔÇÖs tone is soft and velvety. Irresistible. ÔÇ£Say yes to us.ÔÇØ
I press my back against the wall praying for composure, but the longer they trap me, the more the pressure builds, the more my want fights to the surface, and my resolve falls away into oblivion. I find myself nodding because my ability to speak has become paralyzed.
ÔÇ£Good girl,ÔÇØ Reese breathes before he throws me over his shoulder like a caveman.
ÔÇ£Hey!ÔÇØ I grab onto his shirt.
He swats me on the butt as he makes his way to the stairs. ÔÇ£Ouch!ÔÇØ I flail.
ÔÇ£ThatÔÇÖs for bouncing out on me. Never do it again. Got it?ÔÇØ He hits me once more for good measure.
ÔÇ£Fuck you.ÔÇØ I flinch.
ÔÇ£In due time, baby.ÔÇØ
I lift my head as Reese climbs the stairs with Dev hot on his heels.
Reality suddenly strikes. Is this really happening?
ÔÇ£Relax.ÔÇØ Dev traps my chin gently. ÔÇ£WeÔÇÖre going to take care of you. And make you feel so good.ÔÇØ He pushes some dangling hair away from my face so I can see him. HeÔÇÖs incredibly calm despite the carnal look in his eyes.
Once in my small room, Reese drops me on the bed. They each flank one side, making me feel like a trapped animal.
I kneel in the middle of the mattress at a loss at what to do next.
ÔÇ£Strip, baby,ÔÇØ Reese instructs as he unzips his leather jacket and pulls the gun from the back of his pants, placing it on my nightstand.
I stay frozen in place.
I know IÔÇÖm supposed to move, but whatÔÇÖs clearly about to happen hasnÔÇÖt sunk in yet.
ÔÇ£Need some assistance?ÔÇØ Dev crawls up behind me and kisses my neck. A switch flips. My eyes immediately roll backward. Yes, please, touch me. Both of you, please touch me.
