Clementine Daly knows sheÔÇÖs the black sheep. Her wealthy, powerful family has watched her very closely since she almost got caught in an embarrassing scandal a few years ago. So when ClementineÔÇÖs sent on a mission to live up to the Daly name, politely declining isnÔÇÖt even an option. Of course, the last thing Clementine does before departure is grab a strangerÔÇÖs phone by mistakeÔÇöleaving the hunky journalist with her phone. Soon his sexy voice is on the line, but he doesnÔÇÖt know her real name, or her famous pedigreeÔÇöwhich is just the way Clementine likes it.

Despite all the hassles, Justin Mueller is intrigued to realize that the beautiful brown-eyed girl he met at the airport is suddenly at his fingertips. They agree to exchange phones when theyÔÇÖre both back in town, but after a week of flirty texts and wonderfully intimate conversations, Justin doesnÔÇÖt want to let her go that easy. The only problem? It turns out that Clementine has been lying to him about, well, everything. Except for the one thing two people canÔÇÖt fake, the only thing that matters: The heat between them is for real.

┬áÔÇ£Ellie┬áCahill is definitely one to watch!ÔÇØ raves bestselling author Cora Carmack,┬áand this steamy, upbeat modern romance about connecting in all the best ways┬áproves it once again.

ThereÔÇÖs at least a half dozen reasons to love this sweet and light romance. IÔÇÖll start with the premise of how Clementine and Justin not only meet, but how they initially get to know each other. Two cell phones and a mix up at the airport. Then, itÔÇÖs Clementines hobby – reading and review blogging (itÔÇÖs just so perfectly captured). Next up is the the little ways that these two start falling for each other. You can feel that blush of new romance building. Then, it’s simply Justin. HeÔÇÖs modeled with some really great characteristics of a stand-up kinda guy. Finally, itÔÇÖs Clementine herself. All her quirks and her spirit. Call Me Maybe is the first book by Ellie Cahill that IÔÇÖve had the pleasure to read. SheÔÇÖs definitely created a new #FanGirl in me.

Clem is not at all what I would call a spoiled rich thing and she doesnÔÇÖt live her life as girl riding on the coattails of her family’s fortune. SheÔÇÖs a sensible young woman who just hasn’t figured out what she wants to do in life. Clem’s life is overshadowed by an easy to understand mistake from her college life. Her family’s lack of faith in her is a bit disheartening and serves to discourage open communications between them. Hiding her hobby from them makes sense. Unfortunately this doubt carries over to almost every other person in her life. SheÔÇÖs compelled keep her real name and identity from Justin which simply sets her up for failure. Insecurity plagues her and the newness of their relationship and her ever growing feelings for him are put in jeopardy. She makes some crucial mistakes and the inevitable is bound to happen.

As for Justin. Well thereÔÇÖs something about this normal boy and the way he brings Clem into his life that is so sweet. ThereÔÇÖs nothing grandiose about his lifestyle, but heÔÇÖs got ambition and heÔÇÖs smart. The chemistry between them is natural and the while Justin is swoon worthy, heÔÇÖs got his own hang-ups holding him back. Call Me Maybe is a story about first love & commitment, and about taking chances, communicating, forgiveness and what it means to fight for what you want.I truly felt the warm fuzzies while reading about these two finding each other and learning to throw caution to the wind. I liked the writing so much I snatched up When Joss Met Matt and Pre-Ordered Just a Girl.
