New York Times
USA Today
Bestseller, Vi Keeland, comes a sexy new novel.
The first time I met Brody Easton was in the menÔÇÖs locker room. It was my first interview as a professional sportscaster. The famed quarterback decided to bare all. And by all, I donÔÇÖt mean he told me any of his secrets. No. The arrogant ass decided to drop his towel, just as I asked the first question. On camera. The Super Bowl MVP quickly adopted a new hobbyÔÇöscrewing with me.When I pushed back, he shifted from wanting to screw with me, to wanting to screw me.But I donÔÇÖt date players. And itÔÇÖs not because IÔÇÖm one of the few women working in the world of professional football. IÔÇÖd date an athlete. ItÔÇÖs the other kind of player I donÔÇÖt date. You know the type. Good looking, strong, cocky, always looking to get laid.
Brody Easton was the ultimate player.Every woman wanted to be the one to change him.But the truth was, all he needed was a girl worth changing for.Turned out, I was that girl.Simple right?Lets face it. It never is.Theres a story between once upon a time and happily ever after And this one is ours.

Brody Easton, consummate playboy and football god.┬á HeÔÇÖs got charisma and sex appeal for MILES!┬á Add in a dirty mouth and you know heÔÇÖs irresistible. There are some amazing locker room anticsÔǪwell hello Mr. Towel (thanks for that, Vi!!).┬á It was so easy to fall for this guy.┬á HeÔÇÖs got a whole lot of fun up his sleeve (and down his pants) trying to sex up our dear Delilah.┬á Anything to get into hers (or her).┬á There is certainly an alpha type of vibe to him. Who knew a sexy reporter could bring him to his knees?!

ÔÇ£This dirty mouth wants to do dirty things to you.ÔÇØ

Delilah is a tough cookie and has a butt load of self-control.┬á SheÔÇÖs a relationship type of girl.┬á So, no casual sex on the menu. ┬áI love that she has a good job she enjoys in a male-dominated field, and is good at it.┬á There is something so gratifying about a strong woman (not necessarily a ball-buster) who is capable of being her own person. And, she can smell player a mile away.

ÔÇ£That man isnÔÇÖt into me.┬á He wants in to me.ÔÇØ

What I didnÔÇÖt anticipate in this book is finding out what lies behind the cockiness of Brody.┬á ItÔÇÖs not a fa├ºade since the man has certainly earned bragging rights in all areas.┬á But, there are certainly more facets to his personality.┬á His relationships with Grouper and Marlene certainly speak volumes.┬á Besides the cocky antics in the beginning with Delilah, I think his moments with Marlene were my favorites.

I have to throw out there how much I love Indie, DelilahÔÇÖs best friend.┬á SheÔÇÖs an amazing secondary character.┬á A total man-eater who exudes such self-assured sexiness AND cockiness.┬á SheÔÇÖs a female BALLER!┬á Dang it, Vi, she needs her own book!!!┬á Her comic relief and dirtiness totally took the book up to the next level.

ÔÇ£I mentally give myself two points for making him hard.┬á ItÔÇÖs a little game I play.ÔÇØ

ÔÇ£I know.┬á Do you think heÔÇÖs jerking off in the menÔÇÖs room?┬á I get five points if he comes out and thereÔÇÖs a little wet spot on his pants from post-ejaculation drip.ÔÇØ

I love Vi Keeland.┬á Her writing style is fun and her story lines are riveting┬áand developed.┬á This was a fun and interesting read.┬á Unfortunately, while I really liked this story, I found there to be some character development issues.┬á There is a personality jump in Brody that doesnÔÇÖt feel natural. ┬á Regardless, I would still recommend the book.┬á You canÔÇÖt go wrong with a Vi Keeland book!

A new song had just started, and I was enjoying his company when a voice behind me said, ÔÇ£Can I cut in?ÔÇØ

My head whipped around, even though I had no doubt whom the gravelly voice belonged to.

Michael was gracious. ÔÇ£I hate to share. But I suppose I have been hogging the most beautiful woman at the event.ÔÇØ He let go of my hand and stepped back with a gentlemanly nod. ÔÇ£Thank you for the dance, Delilah.ÔÇØ

Again Brody Easton had caught me off guard. Before I knew it, I was dancing with the arrogant jerk.  He wrapped his arms around me and pulled my body tight against his. Way tighter than Michael had held me.

ÔÇ£Good to see you again, Lois Lane.ÔÇØ

The man had balls; I had to give him that. I looked him straight in the eyes. ÔÇ£Nice to see you with clothes on, Easton.ÔÇØ

ÔÇ£Do you prefer me without?ÔÇØ

ÔÇ£I prefer you on the other side of the room.ÔÇØ

He chuckled. It was a hearty laugh. ÔÇ£ThatÔÇÖs what happens sometimes when you decide you want to hang out in the menÔÇÖs locker room.ÔÇØ

I tried to pull back, but he tightened his grip and held me in place. I craned my neck. ÔÇ£Let go of me.ÔÇØ

ÔÇ£ThatÔÇÖs right. No.ÔÇØ

ÔÇ£I can scream at the top of my lungs.ÔÇØ

ÔÇ£IÔÇÖd like to hear you scream.ÔÇØ His tone made it clear he meant he wanted me underneath him while I was doing the screaming.

ÔÇ£YouÔÇÖre an asshole. You know that?ÔÇØ

ÔÇ£I do. You asked me that yesterday. For a reporter, you should really try changing up your questions more frequently.ÔÇØ

My eyes bulged.

Easton shifted his hand down to the small of my back before twirling us around the dance floor. Figures the prick can dance.

ÔÇ£Are you seeing anyone?ÔÇØ

ÔÇ£You canÔÇÖt be serious?ÔÇØ

He ignored my comment. ÔÇ£Would you like to have dinner tonight?ÔÇØ

ÔÇ£We just ate.ÔÇØ

ÔÇ£Dessert at my place, then?ÔÇØ

I couldnÔÇÖt help but laugh. ÔÇ£Did you hit your head at the game yesterday?ÔÇØ

ÔÇ£On a diet, huh?ÔÇØ

ÔÇ£Yeah. ThatÔÇÖs it. I donÔÇÖt want to go to your place for dessert because IÔÇÖm on a diet.ÔÇØ

ÔÇ£Well, thatÔÇÖs just a shame.ÔÇØ
