Our love had to live in the past
The first time we met I knew.
She was perfection.
I needed to know everything about herwhat made her smile, what her lips tasted like, what her body felt like under my skin
But our love was fatal.
The purest venom that seeped through my veins and embedded deep into my soul.
The woman who owned my soul.
The woman who shredded my heart to pieces.

I went into my read of Endless Love Letter (Love Letter #2) knowing IÔÇÖd be a mess. I had anticipatory anxiety as I just wanted Emilia to redeem herself and I desperately wanted a happy ever after. If you havenÔÇÖt read Invisible Love Letter (Love Letter #1) stop here (my ILL review) <<spoilers ahead>>
Invisible Love Letter ended with a preview of EmiliaÔÇÖs broken life, a year after she marries the sweet but wrong man Jeremy. Jeremy is simply wrong because, well because Weston is beyond right. Although he crushed me at the very end of ILL, he had fewer dents.
What happens when you go into a read expecting angsty drama but come out on the other side feeling like something shifted inside you? ThatÔÇÖs not drama – thatÔÇÖs being impacted. I feel like my heart was just rolled over by a mack truck. Endless Love Letter (ELL) shredded me while it made me contemplate life and love. This beautiful second chance love story was so much more than I anticipated. I simply canÔÇÖt break it down into plot pieces and characters to write a standard review . Callie Anderson took the story line that started in Invisible Love Letter (ILL) in a direction that while I never would have expected it, she made it feel so heartrendingly right. All the clues were there but I actually felt disbelief that the story direction had taken the course it had. Someday my aching heart may get over it, but right now itÔÇÖs too new.
I spent 80% of the book in a heightened state of anxiety dreading the inevitable. ThereÔÇÖs an entirely different tone in ELL and the reason is that itÔÇÖs told through WestonÔÇÖs voice. The story picks up about a year after the end of ILL and in the time heÔÇÖs lost the hostility he felt towards Emilia. With a change in EmiliaÔÇÖs circumstances, Weston starts to believe that they have a second chance. There are brief glimpses of hope until it all falls to pieces. What they face now includes soul crushing heartbreak. One thing is certain, Weston and Emilia still own each heart and soul and have somehow come a place where their love reached that elusive state of unconditional love. Where the gap in the distance between their souls was closed.
The writing is really superb in everything from the dialogue to how the story unfolds. Endless Love Letter is not an angsty read in the traditional sense. The story was so much bigger than the jealousy and insecurities that I associate to an angsty read. Invisible Love Letter is an angsty read, but ELL transcends the label. I have never been more heartbroken over a story. The setbacks are devastating┬áand the ugly cries IÔÇÖve experienced before pale in comparison. I felt a constant sting of tears behind my eyes and it seemed that every couple of pages I felt immense pain, with a free flow of tears falling down my face.
Endless Love Letter is one of my most anticipated reads of 2016. Callie Anderson did something incredibly brave taking the story down the path she did. When they say go big or go home, Anderson went BIG. She shakes it up so thoroughly and exceeded all expectations and I feel a unique sense of awe with her writing. Endless Love Letter is not a story that will leave my thoughts anytime soon. 5 +++ #YellowGel & #Dentless stars and #2016MustRead

Invisible Love Letter
(The Love Letter Duet #1)
Love is fatal; a snake that slithers into your life, poisons you with its venom, and leaves you there to die.
I swore I wouldnÔÇÖt be my parents.
I swore I would stay away from the limelight.
Falling in love with a musician was definitely out of the question.
Weston Carter was all kinds of wrong for a girl like me. He was musician, a womanizer, and a first class heartbreaker.
I didn’t know a love like this could exist. Our love was epic, the kind people wrote stories about. We fell into it hard, unable to control our feelings.
I set myself up for a shattered heart.
A broken life.
A fucked up love story.
