Hollywood actress, Ashlyn Roberts, just had the worst week of her life. Her ex released a sex tape of them and just when she was convinced her current boyfriend was a keeper for standing by her side, he breaks up with her at a friendÔÇÖs wedding. SheÔÇÖs planning to drown her sorrows in booze when she meets a sexy stranger as sheÔÇÖs leaving the wedding and they end up in Vegas, married.
Cash Crawford is offered a dream job working with his brother as a junior talent agent. HeÔÇÖll put his shiny new law degree to good use and make a bunch of money in the process. His first task is simple: Keep Ashlyn Roberts out of trouble and donÔÇÖt sleep with her.Which might be kind of tough, since they definitely consummated their Vegas wedding.
Will this one night stand end in the quickie divorce they promised each other? Or will they realize they got lucky in love?
A standalone contemporary romance by USA Today Bestselling Author, Jillian Dodd.
Sometimes what happens in Vegas doesnt stay in Vegas. Sometimes you have a crazy and amazing experience that forever changes your life and it shouldnt be chalked up to a drunken night in Vegas. Thus begins the story of Ashlyn and Cash. These two find their normal and Vegas lives closely intertwined once they return to everyday life. Can they figure out that a chance encounter was the best mistake they ever made?
Lets talk about the Crawford clan. Cade, Carter, Cash, and of course, we cant forget Chole. Cade is a bit of the hardass big brother, burnt in love. Carter is fun loving and with seemingly ninja people-reading skills. We only get a glimpse of Chloe, but shes got a killer spitfire personality. I cant wait to find out more about these Crawfords. Theyre very promising! Now, Cashhes a fun time boy who has no inclination to settle down, but hes a closet romantic. I feel as though hes a steadier force that you want to give him credit for in the beginning; he grew up when he figured out what he wanted out of life. His is a quick but sure evolution from young bachelor to worthy man.
As for Ashlyn, shes got a bit of hot mess lurking beneath the depths. I dont feel as though we fully delve into her chaosthere is only a taste of what she has been through in her life, but enough to get a sense of who she is. There were many times when I felt like she was a lost little girl making some stupid decisions. I think Cash brings out the best version of herself. He became her rock and helped stabilize her.
Im a huge Jillian Dodd fan and was eagerly awaiting this book. The story seems to borrow quite a lot from pop culture  youll draw quite a few comparisons. The story is a very quick and light read. Its got some angst to keep you going, but, most of all, there is some levity to it to keep you reaching for the HEA. There are a few mentions of Keatyn (yes, Im fangirling right now) and I hope we get some more glimpses or interactions from her and that crew in the future Crawford brothers books.
