Quinn has spent her whole life working in her dad's garage, leaving her more comfortable with a carburetor than a curling iron. Her world is turned upside down when her beloved garage is bought by none other than world famous, sexy as sin, custom car builder, Tazen Watts. He's the one man she can't stand...even though he makes her hotter than a high performance engine in top gear.

Tazen has no use for Quinn, at least not professionally, and he's making sure she knows it. But there's a spark between them that she's finding hard to ignore. She's determined to prove her talent is as impressive as her sassy mouth. When she finds out Tazen is hiding a secret that could bring down his career and everyone involved in it, she wonders: is falling for him is going to be work the risk?

**Hard To Break is a full-length standalone romance with a HEA**

The second in Bella JewelÔÇÖs Alpha series, Hard To Break, solidified Bella as a go-to author for a quick and sexy read. I have to say that I enjoyed Hard To Break just a little bit more than Hard to Fight. It has that little extra something that pulled me in and my guess itÔÇÖs all in the two central characters, Quinn and Tazen. Set in the Custom Car building and Race world seemed different to me and while the premise and setting is not entirely unique, it had some unique or new to me elements that made it an interesting read.

Once I made it through the prologue (which is only a few pages yet it gutted me), I settled in to get to know Quinn. There is just something about Quinn that resonated with me. I love that sheÔÇÖs a ÔÇ£tomboyÔÇØ and quite innocent when it comes to the opposite sex. QuinnÔÇÖs life is tied to her family business and with that she is wrapped up in a burden laden existence . Jewel really did a great job created this semi tough, snarky, tenacious young woman. This character trait was front and center through the entire read and itÔÇÖs all due to the entrance of Tazen Watts. Simply put, he is an Alpha male incarnate; bossy, snarly, demanding, and oh so loyal. HeÔÇÖs built his business from nothing but unfortunately he also put it all at risk and heÔÇÖs being essentially held hostage by his past.

Quinn and Tazen share one character trait. They are both stubborn to a fault, but thatÔÇÖs what makes this story such a fun read, waiting to see who was gonna crack first. Quinn is so comically annoying to Tazen (he certainly deserves it) which just made me like her all the more, again because he deserves it. This sets the tone between them, but things morph into something else entirely. The story-line is smooth, adding just enough angst and some whole lotta sexy. Jewel does what I think is a great job representing what I think women working in traditionally male roles would encounter and I think it’s safe to say that these ÔÇ£tougherÔÇØ woman, it would an Alpha male to break down the walls. IÔÇÖm really liking the theme of this series and IÔÇÖm so thankful thereÔÇÖs at least one more in the series. 4.5 Stars and recommendation!

Bella Jewel is usually one of the authors I go to in order to read a quick, sexy book about a headstrong female and alpha male. Sadly, the last few I read have been rather disappointing. Hard to Break however, is back to the Bella standard we are used to. It is sexy, smart, funny, and heart-breaking. Even though this is book 2 in the ÔÇ£Alpha’s Heart SeriesÔÇØ, I have had no trouble keeping up with this story without having read book 1.

Quinn is a mechanic, the epitome of tomboy, and proud of it. Her whole life is her fatherÔÇÖs garage, the last piece she has of her late mother. While her home life is in shambles, the only constant of her life over the last years, until Tazen storms into her life and turns it upside down. Tazen buying her garage out from underneath of her nearly destroyed her, but she comes out fighting. SheÔÇÖs snarky, sarcastic, bossy, and a royal pain in the ass. Her personality is what made this book great however. The way she stands up to Tazen is hilarious to say the least.

Tazen is a famous car builder. He has built his business from the ground up, fought hard for it to be successful too. But throughout all of this, he has made some mistakes that came to haunt him. While he takes her garage away, he doesnÔÇÖt exactly enjoy doing it, after a while anyway. He realizes that Quinn is actually a bigger asset to his business than he thought at first. Things heat up between them quickly and explosively.

IÔÇÖve loved Quinn and TazenÔÇÖs chemistry. While they both fight it at first, it becomes clear pretty fast that they cannot stay away from each other. Even when the past and present collide and issues arise that neither one of them is ready to share. Both Quinn and Tazen are fighters however, and seeing them fight for one another is beautiful.

I give this story 4 stars and will definitely read the next one!
