Hell on wheels meets hell in high heels.
Bad boy mechanic Josh Stone likes to get his hands dirty any way he canÔÇöthe filthier, the better. Ever since his wife walked out on him and their young son, heÔÇÖs only had room in his heart for two loves: the kid and cars.
Roped into playing his best buddyÔÇÖs gay boyfriend during a romance writers convention, the player meets the girl whoÔÇÖs gonna rock his world. Leelee Songchild. Shy, bashful, beautiful Leelee who blushes at the drop of a hat yet writes hardcore smut to rival JoshÔÇÖs backlist of Penthouse Forum.
The only problem is his hands are tied. Josh canÔÇÖt stab his old friend/fake lover in the back even though all he wants to do is take luscious Leelee to bed, and maybe, love her. When the truth comes out, all hell breaks loose.
Too bad romance is just for books.

I NEED to give this book 10 stars.┬á What.A.Great.Book!!!!┬á Written from the perspective of Josh/Stone, there are some great moments of hilarity perfectly balanced with some amazingly hot action (in the book as well as in the book in the book).┬á ItÔÇÖs a story of life imitating art, in the sexiest waysÔǪ

This book is written from the male perspective, being exposed to a female-dominated slice of the universe.┬á Josh and Nick attend the Litluv writers convention as a gay couple to help convince NickÔÇÖs colleagues that he is indeed gay.┬á ItÔÇÖs hard for a man to break into the romace novel industry, writing from a femaleÔÇÖs perspective!┬á Josh is a seriously great friend, willing to take one for the team, a.k.a., Nick.┬á Nick has always been there for him and his son.┬á Shoot, he might as well be his brother, having grown up in the Stone household.┬á You know your relationship is beyond tight when you offer to be a gay lover to your best friend, even being willing to plant a wet (albeit sexy) smooch on your bestie in front of a crowd of people and enter a cover model contest.┬á JoshÔÇÖs ÔÇ£gay alterÔÇØ ego, Stone, is just as sexy!!

While Josh is fulfilling his best friend duties, he stumbles upon the woman of his wet dreams.  Could she be the women of his waking dreams, too?  He knows he wants her, but can he take the risk of acting upon his hetero tendencies without outing his faux gay relationship?

Leelee is all sorts of pin-up sweet and sexy.┬á She is written with a perfect blend of innocence and sex kittenÔǪjust enough to entice Josh and drive him crazy with her written words.┬á YouÔÇÖll love the ÔÇ£hensÔÇØ and the ÔÇ£widowsÔÇØ at the conference.┬á From the hen mauling, literary acronym soup to the supportive spouses, youÔÇÖll get a massive kick out of the type of characters who frequent this genre of writers convention.┬á Getting a glimpse of what a convention is like makes you wish you could attend one.┬á Maybe Josh (or Stone) and Nick will be there?!

There are scenes that will make you giggle and others that may require a change of underwear.┬á All of it is excellently written and completely worthy of a second read.┬á There is a second book in the series about Nick.┬á If itÔÇÖs even half as good as WarrenÔÇÖs first one, then it will be a hit!
