I received this book for free from in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

The best way to get over a man is to get under a different one
I have one rule for myself. DonÔÇÖt fuck the patrons. But as the owner of a BDSM club, that rule is harder to abide by than you might realize. It becomes even more difficult when my best friendÔÇÖs little sister arrives at my club, lonely and confused, seeking refuge from her ex. I know I could help her, teach her, and build that quiet confidence sheÔÇÖs lost, if only she doesnÔÇÖt break me first.
It was only supposed to be three lessons. No strings. No attachments...
The Dominant is a full length, standalone novel, though you may appreciate reading The Gentleman Mentor first, which features another Dom for you to fall in love with.

Well, hello sexy Dom ┬áa.k.a. Reece.┬á He is a successful business man who owns a BDSM club.┬á If you read the first book, Gentleman Mentor, youÔÇÖll clearly remember Reece from when he ÔÇ£assistedÔÇØ Hale in a scene.┬á┬á┬á He was blazing hot then, and nearly melted off of the pages this time.┬á How did Kendall Ryan make him more irresistible?┬á HeÔÇÖs a tortured soul due to a broken heart.┬á I LOVED how he was writtenÔǪ dominant, sexy, tattoos and with a heart buried beneath a ton of armor.

Macey is HaleÔÇÖs younger sister. ┬áThat means Reece is supposed to stay VERY far away from her. ┬áShe is the unknowingly cause of said broken heart.┬á SheÔÇÖs got spunk, fire and a love for Reece.┬á She left her life behind and is looking for some fun in order to recalibrate her life.┬á Who better than Reece?┬á She had a thing for him back then, and it appears her fire still burns for him.

ItÔÇÖs a truly interesting dynamic between the two.┬á ThereÔÇÖs a true lack of communication, fear, scarred hearts, and plain running away.┬á Kendall writes an amazing story of angst, unrequited love, and broken hearts to complement the sizzling sex that dampens more than one pair on panties.

If youÔÇÖre in the mood for a little kink, alphas with a core of sweetness, and a tumultuous journey to love, then you need to pick up this book and the Gentlemen Mentor.┬á ItÔÇÖs recommended to read them in order since we get to know Hale and Brielle in the first novel; they make a few appearances in this novel.
