New York Times and USA TODAY bestselling author Jennifer Probst sparks a blissful mind-body connection as her ÔÇ£sexy, satisfyingÔÇØ (Kirkus Reviews) new series continues!
SheÔÇÖs an expert in helping others de-stress, but Arilyn Meadows is running on fumes. Along with her job counseling singles seeking soul mates at the Kinnections agency in Verily, New York, sheÔÇÖs a yoga teacher, animal shelter volunteer, anger management therapist, and helping hand to her beloved grandfather. No time to find Mr. RightÔÇöbut after discovering her yogi boyfriend in a compromising asana, Arilyn would rather dog-sit for her honeymooning friend Kate than risk her heart on another downward dog. And when police officer Stone PettyÔÇöradiating masculinity and bad-boy attitudeÔÇöis sent to her for mandatory lessons in cooling off when the job gets too hot, Arilyn vows to ignore his seductive glances and sexy grin. But thereÔÇÖs no halting their sizzling flirtationÔÇöa red-hot, high-speed chase thatÔÇÖs breaking all the limits.
Oh, Jennifer Probst, youÔÇÖve done it again.┬á How can you not love the ladies of KinnectionsÔǪthe relationship amongst these women, the men who win their hearts and the women themselves?┬á DY.NO.MITE!┬á They are intelligent women, compassionate, and a boat load of fun.┬á They are so busy helping other find love and love happens to find them.
Arilyn Meadows.┬á SheÔÇÖs a hippie boho chick who finally ditched her philandering ÔÇ£boyfriendÔÇØ because he couldnÔÇÖt understand the meaning of monogamy.┬á She keeps running into Officer Stone Petty (SUPER, DUPER hot name!!).┬á He was the officer on scene when GenÔÇÖs ex tried to attack her/set up Wolfe (read Searching for Beautiful to get the full story).┬á Sparks flew immediately that day, and each and every time they have run into each other.┬á Including the anger management class Stone must attend.
He is the polar opposite of Arilyn.┬á She likes an organic and vegetarian diet and he loves meat, specifically of the fast food variety.┬á She believes in yoga to where heÔÇÖd rather go a few rounds with the dead weights in the gyms.┬á She shelters dogs, and Stone doesnÔÇÖt like dogs. ┬áBut, fight it as they may, they cannot avoid their draw to each other.
The beauty of these two individuals coming together is the fact they are different (each with their respective blinders), but they find a way to compromise towards each other.  There are no flowery words and poetry.  What we get with Stone is even better.  We get real, raw man.  Arilyn gives us unrefined passion.  This is where the polar opposites come together and are drawn together like magnets.
Probst always does an amazing job of bringing her characters to life, making them come so fully alive.┬á By the end of the book, you feel as though they are your friends.┬á YouÔÇÖre emotionally invested in their lives, and pull for them to figure out their hearts and heads.┬á I canÔÇÖt recommend the Searching Series enough!┬á The books can be read as standalone, but you donÔÇÖt want to miss the intricacies of the relationships are they are weaved throughout each novel.
