I received this book for free from in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

Days. Hours. Minutes.
I donÔÇÖt know how long IÔÇÖve been here.

Time becomes meaningless when youÔÇÖre lost.

I thought I was alone, but I was wrong.

SheÔÇÖs here with me.
My companion or my captor?

Everything I thought I knew is a lie. Memories turn to delusions. Promises become poison laced with dishonesty.

And still we sing. Our song. Our past.

Our dark, dangerous present.

And in this room of blood and agony, we have found our home...

So I’m supposed to review “Missing Volume II – Lies” by A. Meredith Walters aka A.M. Irvin.
I honestly don’t know how. Not only is my head spinning from all the twists in the story, but I also don’t have an idea what’s going on. I’m even more in the dark than Nora seems to be.

While some questions from the first part have been answered or at least hinted at, so many more questions have emerged – leaving me breathless with anticipation.

Some things I managed to guess, others caused my jaw to hit the floor.
The way A. Meredith Walters weaves the story, the writing style and the bits and pieces we are presented with, it fits the frantic and desperate situation Nora Gilbert finds herself in. It’s brutal, it’s unfiltered – a psychological thriller at its best.

I’m mesmerized and hypnotized by this book.
The need to find out what happens next is overwhelming and I wonder if I’ll end up feeling bad for Nora again or if my current dislike of her continues.
So I can’t wait for the next book in the series to figure everything out.

5 I-have-no-clue-what’s-going-on stars.
