A sassy violinist who lives next door.
The obsessed rock star who watches her through binoculars.
And one night when she bares it all.
Life will never be the same in Tinseltown.

Vital Rejects front guy Sebastian Tate never imagined his YouTube music video would go viral, sky-rocketing him to acting success in Hollywood. Okay, maybe he did. After all, heÔÇÖs a cocky dude who knows heÔÇÖs hot-as-hell, and it was only a matter of time before his stars aligned.

But life in Tinseltown is never what it seems.

After being cheated on by his ex-lover, his only rule to falling in love is simple: Keep Calm and DonÔÇÖt Do It. So, spying on his mysterious new neighbor with binoculars seems innocent enough, but quickly escalates into an erotic game between two very unlikely people.

Twenty-year-old Violet St. Lyons is a world-renowned violinist who's lost her mojo on stage. She hides away in a Hollywood mansion, trying to find her way through her twisted past in order to make her future.

HeÔÇÖs the life of the party with girls chasing him down for his autograph. SheÔÇÖs the introvert with a potty mouth who doesnÔÇÖt even know who he is.

When they meet, stars collide, sparks fly, and clothes come off. Yet, giving his heart to a girl isnÔÇÖt SebastianÔÇÖs plan; falling for a guy who craves attention isnÔÇÖt VioletÔÇÖs.

Welcome to Briarcrest AcademyÔÇöHollywood styleÔÇöwhere sometimes the best things in life are VERY TWISTED THINGS.

ÔÇ£You make me wish for things that will never be,ÔÇØ I whispered. ÔÇ£You want to be a star, and all I want is you.ÔÇØ ~Violet

This third installment of one of my favorite series, The Briarcrest Academy, has it all; a broken heroine, a struggling hero, misunderstandings and miscommunication, a jealous bitch out to destroy them, and hilarious secondary characters.

Having met Sebastian Tate in the first novel, I knew I was in for a treat. HeÔÇÖs funny, charming, and as arrogant as they come. Sadly, heÔÇÖs been burned by his ex-girlfriend back in Texas, which rendered him incapable to trust another girl. His relationships are purely physical, and he likes it that way. That is until Violet catches play her way into his life. Drawn to her by her music, he soon realizes that she is different from any other girl heÔÇÖs ever met, which only makes her more irresistible.

Violet St. Lyons has survived tragedy and loss, but not without being marked by it deeply. Hiding out in her LA mansion, she tries to life a quiet life without attachments and it mostly successful; until Sebastian moves in next door. For her: ÔÇ£Loving means losingÔÇØ. She canÔÇÖt help but be drawn in by his demeanor.

Their connection is palpable since the day they meet, and the sparks continue to fly no matter them trying to stay away. And when they finally get together their connections explodes. I was amazed by both Sebastian and Violet and their ability to display their vulnerable side. Their emotional depth in this story was astounding.

Ilsa Madden-Mills does an amazing job conveying their strong emotional connection, as well as their struggle to overcome past demons. I love IlsaÔÇÖs writing, but with this one she took it to a whole new level; she has a talent to evoke a smorgasbord of emotions with simple words.

I highly recommend this book and the whole series! ItÔÇÖs worth every penny.

~ Review by Loredana

Have you ever met someone you never knew you needed until you couldnÔÇÖt breathe without them?┬á Even if the push and pull twists you up into the tightest knot?┬á Still, itÔÇÖs hard to let someone in when youÔÇÖre afraidÔǪespecially if itÔÇÖs the past that blocks your future.┬á Violet St. Lyons and Sebastian Tate may be neighbors and drawn to one another in a multitude of ways, but the sparks explode when these two are near.┬á Hot, cold.┬á Up, down.┬á ItÔÇÖs enough to twist you round and round.

Violet has lived a charmed life with caring, dedicated parents.┬á Until her life was ripped to shreds as the plane fell from the sky.┬á ItÔÇÖs been easier to hide from her life, and to hide from herself.┬á It doesnÔÇÖt hurt as much this way.┬á But, when Sebastian Tate spies her in the wee hours of the morning, baring her soul and laying her music at his feet, Violet feels the first stirrings of life.

Sebastian has come a long way from the Briarcrest Academy cocky heart throb.┬á When we first met him, he was a kind-hearted and self-assured boy.┬á Well, self confidence was never in doubt, but now thereÔÇÖs a wall six feet thick protecting his heart.┬á┬á No one has been worth it since the ex back in Texas.┬á Enjoy the ladies, but donÔÇÖt let them in.┬á He doesnÔÇÖt trust women.

ÔÇ£IÔÇÖm sorry for being an ass.┬á I blame it on my shitty experiences with girls. Just ÔÇô I donÔÇÖt know ÔÇô come down here and look me in my eyes.ÔÇØ

ÔÇ£Why?ÔÇØ

ÔÇ£Maybe I want to kiss you.ÔÇØ

ÔÇ£YouÔÇÖre kind of bossy.┬á And I might have whiplash from the way you go from hot to cold.ÔÇØ

A whole lot of misunderstanding, miscommunication, and fear twist up their road to one another.┬á Add in a dose of jealousy and the knot gets tighter.┬á But, their magnetism wonÔÇÖt let them stay apart.

ÔÇ£Look, V, thereÔÇÖs something I need to sayÔǪSomethingÔÇÖs wrong with me.┬á I canÔÇÖt write, play music, act, sleep. Eat.┬á All I do is think of you.ÔÇØ

Madden-Mills does an amazing job continuing the story of the Tate brothers in this third installment of Briarcrest Academy.┬á *SPOILER* YouÔÇÖll get an update on everyone you love so much, and Spider is along for the ride, as well.┬á The characters and their development are realistic and relatable.┬á You struggle with them, feeling the hottest hot (my, my can she write hot!) and the coldest snub.┬á The beauty of SebastianÔÇÖs words will make you swoon.┬á Make sure you bookmark those pages so you can revisit the elegance of the prose.

Come for a wild ride, and get twisted round and round. YouÔÇÖll love every second of it.
